Rietmans was established in 1916 and has grown to be one of the largest importers and retailers of landscape garden and building products in Australia. Their specialty is natural stone for paving and wall applications and thay have an impressive portfolio of projects around Melbourne and Sydney. LPD has rolled out two identity campaigns over their life to rejuvenate their brand. The first logo utilised a traditional flourish 'R' on a terracotta paver since the business then dealt in decorative gardenware including classical columns, statues, urns and fountains etc. The branding was applied to product guides, company brochures, stationery, signage and event invitations. The business now concentrates on natural stone only so a more contemporary logo and identity was established using a paving graphic icon. Again this was applied to the web, stationery, signage and promotional material.
